Happy birthday to me!

Oh yeah! I am doing it .I am wishing myself a big massive happy BIRTHDAY! with pleasure and relish.Today has you might have guessed its my birthday.It got me thinking about the birthday GROOVE! Are we expecting too much from birthdays as we get older? I mean seriously I woke up this morning wanting the whole world to know about my birthday, for the sun to shine for me little more extra and unexpected little surprises to happen...Well I got that and more I got the midnight calls and smses even Whatapps do not get me started on Facebook and wait for it I got the random Happy birthday singing from strangers who heard some else wish me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! But best of all my friends and family came out in full force to wish me a very happy birthday and I thank them especially my friend for knowing me so well and buying me A DELICIOUSLY SINFUL HEART STOPPING RICH CREAMY CHOCOLATE CAKE! so whats your Birthday Groove?

Well what can I say but only that great things have been happening through the grace of the lord all mighty.I got accepted into the Phakama Women's Academy mentorship programme an initiative by VWV. There is 26 girls in total and I am one of them.It is too fabulous for words because so far I have been to a video shoot, photo shoot

and Media launch and a radio interview.I have been feeling like a celebrity and I even have my own mentor Boniswa Peizsa GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR OF NETWORKS BBDO! imagine that I will be getting training and knowledge from the best of the best. We are lucky ladies.

A child killed by cruelty!

Why? is the question that keeps going through my head. Taegrin Morris   four years old dragged to death while trapped on a seat by hijackers stealing the car.Why be so cruel? This incident has left all of us grieving with little Taegrin's mother.Taking a life so cruelly a  innocent little boy. Its just shameful we live in a society where our children come into the world with out fault and in need of protection and unconditional Love!.Only to be cruelly taken away from us by certain people who let cruelty rule their hearts.
  May little Taegrin Morris rest in peace and I hope as a nation we continue to pray for the Morris family in this difficult time.

Google or doodle me dumb!

Google! I love Google it is my savior.I can not tell you how much more intelligent I sound with Google around but now the question is  have I become too attached to Google that I can not think for myself or try to search for the answer without Google? whenever I am asked a question I have no answer to.Guess what my comeback is I will GOOGLE IT!  I ask myself if Google was not around would I be dumber?  The worst   part  is I want to Google the answer to that question right there.I think Google has become my brain and in the future I am scared of whats going to happen to my thinking power...

#67 Minutes for Mandela day done!

It was truly fun helping out at the Hamlet Foundation a place of  hope as part of the Mandela day campaign.Well to tell the truth it was my first time because this year I promised myself I would literally drag myself out of the house and offer my time to any organisation.It was fun cleaning windows with a couple of my friends while also taking pictures with the residents of Hamlet.It felt good to give instead of taking for once. I will definitely do it every year from now on in fact Every day will become a Mandela day.
